With 10 years of investing experience, Oscar Vik is well versed in private and public debt and equity markets. Oscar began his investing career at GLH Management, a fund based out of Oslo that focused on public market equity investment. Oscar then spent time at KB Financial Companies (Acquired by Raymond James).
Oscar first joined Clearbrook in 2018 as an intern, primarily focused on equity research. While working as an intern at Clearbrook, Oscar double majored in Finance and History at Southern Methodist University. After graduation, he joined Transverse Insurance Company as an Investment Analyst where he was a founding member of Transverse Ventures, a fintech & insurtech focused venture fund. At Transverse, Oscar was responsible for leading due diligence in Venture Investments as well as writing quarterly investor letters, assisting with audits, and sourcing deal-flow. He was also part of the team that led the sale process of Transverse to Mitsui Sumitomo.
Oscar also actively engages in placing private equity and venture capital deals and brokering high-end art sales. Oscar is also fluent in French, Spanish, and English. His passions include: travel, history, reading, soccer, and film
