Firm Also Appoints Allison Daly as Chief Compliance Officer

Rubin has joined the firm as of today. The firm also announced that Allison Daly will transition to the role of Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing Clearbrook’s compliance program and regulatory obligations. Mr. Rubin will report to Elliott Wislar, Chairman and CEO of Clearbrook, and Ms. Daly will report to Mr. Rubin.
As General Counsel, Mr. Rubin will oversee Clearbrook’s legal function and advise the firm’s leadership on corporate, strategic, transactional, regulatory and governance matters. He will work across Clearbrook, its subsidiary Clearbrook Energy Solutions, and all other Clearbrook affiliated entities to accelerate the firm’s continued growth.
Mr. Rubin brings a more than 30 year track record providing legal counsel to high growth, fast paced businesses across the private equity, hedge funds, and alternative investment sectors. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Greenhaven Road Capital Management, a family of investment partnerships, where he oversaw operations, finance, accounting, tax, compliance, and investor-reporting functions.
Previously, Mr. Rubin served for 10 years as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Stride Capital and as Chief Operating Officer of New Vernon Capital, where he helped scale the platform to more than $3 billion in assets under management. His earlier experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for private-equity-backed industrial ventures and roles at Arthur Andersen and Altheimer & Gray. Mr. Rubin earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University.
