Mark Rubin, Clearbrook’s General Counsel, brings a more than 30 year track record providing legal and strategic counsel to high growth, fast paced businesses across the private equity, hedge funds, and alternative investment sectors. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Greenhaven Road Capital Management, a family of investment partnerships, where he oversaw operations, finance, accounting, tax, compliance, and investor-reporting functions.
Previously, Mr. Rubin served for 10 years as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Stride Capital and as Chief Operating Officer of New Vernon Capital, where he helped scale the platform to more than $3 billion in assets under management. His earlier experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for private-equity-backed industrial ventures and roles at Arthur Andersen and Altheimer & Gray. Mr. Rubin earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University.
