Elliott W. Wislar is the Chairman and CEO of Clearbrook LLC, a $13.5 billion asset management and advisory firm widely recognized for the ability to identify and deliver unique investment solutions for institutions and family offices in markets around the world. In 2025, Mr. Wislar launched Clearbrook Energy Solutions, a next generation global energy company that provides a full-stack Battery Energy System (BESS) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform built to modernize grid reliability in the U.S. and around the world.
Prior to Clearbrook, he developed a business with a 4-Star United States Admiral which was sold to the Defense Division of Boeing Corporation. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions at The Boston Company, a division of The Bank of New York, Mellon, and Fleet Bank where he assisted in growing the institutional asset management business from $6 billion to $226 billion in AUM.
Mr. Wislar received his BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona and received his MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a concentration in Japanese and Finance. He has completed Advanced Management studies at the Kellogg School of Management.
His family immigrated to the U.S. in the 1660s and settled in the Boston area. An avid sailor and ocean racer, and published author, Mr. Wislar has actively supported numerous boards and charities, including service as President of the Board for the Newgrange School of Princeton and Head of the Investment Committee and Board member for the Sacred Heart School of Princeton.
